Description
Velociraptor mongoliensis is shown from a vetted PBDB fossil occurrence in Djadokhta, Mongolia. The occurrence is dated to the Late Campanian interval (83.6-72.2 Ma), with locality evidence recorded as Toogreeg Shire, 50 km W of Bayn Dzak, Omnogov.

Velociraptor was a carnivore. It lived in the Cretaceous period and inhabited Asia. Its fossils have been found in places such as Alberta (Canada), Inner Mongolia (China) and Batken Region (Kyrgyzstan).
